This software offers a whole range of possibilities in imaging calculations based on the position of the patient’s unique facial components. Using revolutionary techniques in image processing, the dental GPS allows you to overlay calculation tools on a digitized photograph of the patient’s face. Since existing golden proportions rulers do not provide all the flexibility a dentist might want, we have developed a modified patent-pending version that can be adjusted according to requirements. When our new "M" ruler is applied to the digital image, it is then possible to accurately assemble the patient’s file from informational windows built right into the software. The resulting file can then be e-mailed to the laboratory to have treatment materials developed to precise requirements. The system therefore provides a clear and efficient means for communicating information between the dentist, the laboratory and the patient.
